Applications
Product Overview
Fumed Silica in Detail
Fumed Silica (Pyrogenic Silica)
Fumed silica, also known as pyrogenic silica or fumed white carbon black, is an extremely fine nano-scale amorphous silicon dioxide produced by high-temperature hydrolysis and condensation of chlorosilanes in an oxyhydrogen flame. With small particle size, large specific surface area and high surface activity, fumed silica offers excellent thickening, thixotropic, anti-settling and anti-sag properties. It is widely used in silicone rubber, adhesives, coatings, inks, thermal insulation and other industries.
Shanxi Jufeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd. offers two major series of fumed silica: hydrophilic and hydrophobic. The company is a domestic leader in production capacity and deep-processing technology.
